Power User Cheatsheet
How it works: Type the trigger token followed by a Space in the main input bar. The token is replaced instantly and generation fires automatically where noted.
$$$ Commands — Auto-generate with full surprise
$$$wordType any word after $$$ and press Space. Randomizes all settings, drops word into input, fires generation immediately. Works in main bar and Inspire search.
$$$rainExample: generates an aphorism about rain with a random voice, tone, size, treatment, mood, and sentence style every time.
$$ Commands — Settings shortcuts
$$randomPersistent random stream mode. Picks a tier-S (common) word + randomizes all settings. Every pill click (Expand / Contract / Random / Koan) fires a fresh word + new settings. Type anything to exit.
$$randomdifficultSame as $$random but uses tier-M (rarer, Zipf 3.2–4.3) words + forces scaffold mode so the word appears verbatim in the output. Ideal for unexpected vocabulary.
$$SW5Surprise command format: $$[tier][POS][length]. Randomizes all settings + fetches a random word matching your spec. Tier: S/M/R. POS: W=word, A=adj, V=verb, N=noun. Length: 2–12.
$$SN4Example: fetches a random 4-letter noun at tier S. Fires generation immediately with randomized settings.
$$cheatsheetOpens this modal. You're here.
$$phraseSwitches to Phrase mode — generates from a multi-word phrase instead of a single concept. Unlocks different structural templates.
$$CLOpens Concept Lens — pick a translated concept from Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, French, and 8 more languages. The foreign word seeds a culturally-specific generation angle.
$ Commands — Random word, keep settings
$SW5Single-$ format: fetches a random word matching spec but does NOT randomize settings. Your current voice/tone/size stay. Just drops the word into the bar.
$MV3Example: fetches a 3-letter tier-M verb. You hit Enter to generate with your own settings.
Wildcards
iron*Type a word with * anywhere, then Space. The wildcard gets replaced with a contextually matched word. E.g. iron* might become ironclad.
*will*Wildcards can be at start, middle, or end. The server picks the best phonetic or semantic fit from the lexicon.
Refine pills appear below the result. They modify the current output, not a fresh generation. In $$random or $$randomdifficult mode, every pill fires a fresh random word + new settings instead.
Post-generation Actions
ExpandLengthen the current result while preserving its core idea. Adds metaphor, context, or rhythmic weight. Never just pads with synonyms.
ContractDistil to absolute essence. Removes ornament, not meaning. Targets 40–60% of original word count. Replaces verbose phrases with their precise single-word equivalents.
RandomRandomizes only tone and vocabulary tier. Does not touch voice, size, or sentence style. Quickest way to shift register on an existing result.
Fill BlanksIf your input contains --- (triple dash), the model fills each blank while preserving the fixed skeleton. E.g. If you ---, what will ---?
∅ KoanForces the Koan sentence style — a question that dissolves its own premise. Overrides current sentence style. Shows only when Koan mode is available for the input.
Refine Bar (text input below result)
Refine fieldType a direction: "make it shorter", "add a paradox", "more cynical", "replace ocean with desert". The model sculpts the existing result toward your instruction rather than regenerating.
🔥 buttonFires the refine with your instruction. Same as pressing Enter in the refine field.
✏ Edit modeClick the pencil icon to enter direct word-level editing. Click any word in the result for synonym / antonym / rhyme alternatives.
Variety Mode
Variety = 2+Set Variety in settings to 2–10. One Generate click fires N parallel calls with divergent settings (different zones, sizes, tones). Each result is structurally distinct — not paraphrases.
Variety zonesEach parallel call is assigned a different creative zone: Tight Blade, Lyric Chamber, Paradox Engine, Deep Field — ensuring maximum output diversity across calls.
Settings interact. Treatment level controls how literally the model interprets your input. Sentence style overrides size and costs more tokens — Narrative is capped at 200 words.
Treatment Levels (How Close to Input)
T1 — RigidGrammar polish only. Every word of your input is preserved. Use when you have a near-final line and want punctuation or rhythm fixed.
T2 — CloseLight rewriting. Synonyms allowed. Input phrase intact. Good for sentence-length inputs you want polished but not transformed.
T3 — BalancedDefault. Treats input as strong thematic guide. Output is clearly related but structurally free. Best general-purpose setting.
T4 — LiberalInput is a loose seed. Model explores the theme freely. Ideal for single abstract words where you want unexpected angles.
T5 — LateralInput triggers a tangential exploration. Output may only share the emotional register with the input. Maximum creative distance.
Sentence Styles — key ones
ParadoxForces a self-contradicting structure. "The more X, the less X." Classic aphorist move.
AnaphoraRepeated phrase at the start of each clause. "What is X but… What is X but…" Creates rhetorical momentum.
AntithesisTwo opposing clauses in parallel structure. Forces the model to find the tension in any concept.
KoanA question that dissolves its own premise. "What is the sound of…" Zen structure, universal resonance.
Narrative 3× cost120–200 words. Micro-story or vignette. Hard-capped by server to prevent runaway. Not available in $$random auto-pick.
Elaborate 3× cost50–80 words. Essay-fragment register. Not available in $$random auto-pick.
ScaffoldYou set a word count ceiling. The model writes up to that ceiling and stops. Ceiling 800–1500 = natural aphorism. 1500–2500 = M-tier words used by $$randomdifficult.
Sound Signatures
AlliterationConsonant repetition at word starts. Adds memorability.
AssonanceVowel sound repetition within words. Adds internal music without full rhyme.
End RhymeLast words of clauses rhyme. The most overt sound device — use sparingly.
Compound sigsAuto-detected when T3–T5 + specific creativity types. Alliteration + Antithesis, Assonance + Anaphora etc. — the server picks the best compound for your input. Zero extra cost.
Vocabulary Tiers
V1–V3 (Common)Top 10,000 English words. Maximum accessibility and punch. Best for slogans, social copy.
V4–V5 (Literary)Beyond top 10K. Words with precision that common words lack. Best for essays, philosophy.
V6–V7 (Rare)Archaic, technical, or literary terms. High intellectual signal. Can alienate casual readers — use deliberately.
Inspire and Blend are two-input creation modes. Both use your current settings. Inspire seeds from a found text; Blend fuses two texts you provide.
Inspire Pane — found text as seed
Search 150K+Movie wisdoms, quotes, proverbs, idioms. Search any word or theme to find a seed text.
Direction fieldType a creative direction before generating: "modernize it", "make it personal", "find the opposite", "go deeper", "simplify", "make it provocative". Server maps these to one of 6 named approaches.
ApproachesTransform (default) · Modernize · Personalize · Contrast · Deepen · Simplify · Provoke. Each changes the creative instruction the model receives while the seed stays the same.
✦ Wand buttonOn any search result card — loads that text as the inspire seed without closing the pane.
Word ExplorerRotating orbit of words from a curated lexicon. Click any word to use it. Set Style=Random to auto-randomize settings on click. Set Style=Keep to preserve your current settings.
Blend Mode — two texts → one output
How to usePaste or type Text A and Text B. Pick a blend mode. Generate. The output is a single aphorism that carries DNA from both parents.
NaturalLet the model decide the ratio. Best when A and B are thematically compatible.
TensionForces a confrontation between A and B. Best when they contradict each other. Produces paradox-flavoured output.
SynthesisResolves A and B into a third idea that transcends both. Good for philosophical pairs.
SteerYou provide a third input — a vector word or phrase — that tilts the blend in a specific direction. The most controlled blend mode.
History Random Mode
History tabSwitch to the History tab, then click Random view. Auto-cycles through your generated history every few seconds. Use as a review carousel of your session's best lines.
Edit mode and the Structure Workshop operate on a result already shown. Translate and romanize work on any output including Hinglish.
Word-Level Edit Mode
✏ Pencil iconEnters edit mode. Every word in the result becomes clickable. Click any word for: synonyms, antonyms, rhymes, rare literary alternatives. One tap replaces the word in-place.
Synonym panelResults grouped by type. Rare alternatives carry a tier badge. Rhymes tab shows phonetic matches — useful for sound work after generation.
Direct editYou can also click the result text to edit it directly. Combine direct editing with AI synonym suggestions for surgical precision.
Structure Workshop (Use as Structure)
⊞ Structure btnTakes the current result's POS (part-of-speech) skeleton and offers it as a reusable template. E.g. NOUN VERB NOUN, VERB ADJECTIVE — preserves the rhythm, replaces every word.
How to useClick Structure → change the topic in the main input bar → Generate. The output will follow the exact same syntactic shape as the original, applied to your new topic.
Translate & Romanize
Translate btnTranslates the current result into your chosen language. 20+ languages. The translation is not a word-for-word literal — it re-renders the thought in the target language's natural idiom.
Hover to romanizeFor non-Latin scripts (Hindi, Arabic, Bengali, Tamil, etc.), hover over the translation to see a romanized (Latin-alphabet) version. Useful for reading aloud.
Hinglish modeSelect Hindi + T3–T5 treatment = Hinglish output. The model code-switches between Hindi emotion and English subject terms — the natural register of urban Indian speech. Not a translation.
Copy & Export
Copy btnCopies the clean text to clipboard. No punctuation added or removed. Whitespace-trimmed.
Listen btnText-to-speech with accent selection. 6 rotating accents for Word Explorer background listen. TTS rate is calibrated per language (Hindi=0.78, Tamil=0.75 for natural cadence).
Result IDEvery result carries a #XXXXXXXX ID shown below the word count. Use it to reference a specific result when asking for refinements or reporting issues.
