⚠️ Common Mistakes to Watch For
Counting digits, not quantity: Child says "24" has "2 and 4" instead of understanding 2 tens and 4 ones.
Reversing digits: Writing 42 when meaning 24. Use physical bundles to reinforce.
Skipping in sequence: Missing numbers when counting. Practice counting forward AND backward.

Bundle Hunt: Collect 10 similar items (spoons, LEGO, buttons) and rubber-band them together. "This is 1 ten!"
Step Counter: Count steps around the house by 10s. "10, 20, 30..." How many to the kitchen?
