Welcome to Beyond Dictionary! This tool helps you find English and Hinglish idioms from your own JSON data.

Screen 1: File Upload

• Upload Data: Click the "📁 Click or drag a JSON file here" area or drag a JSON file onto it.
• The JSON file should contain idiom data. Each idiom can have an english_idiom, hindi_equivalent, english_keywords (comma-separated), and hinglish_keywords (comma-separated).
• Example JSON structure:

• Once a valid JSON file is loaded, its name will appear, and the "Begin Experience" button will become active.
• Click "Begin Experience" to proceed to the search tool.

Screen 2: Idiom Search Tool

• Language Selector: Choose to search within "Any" language idioms, only "English Idioms", or only "Hinglish Idioms" (based on keywords).
• Keyword Input: Type a keyword (minimum 2 characters). Autocomplete suggestions will appear. Click a suggestion or type your full keyword.
• Display Style:
  • Idiom + Keywords: Shows results as cards with the idiom, its Hindi equivalent, and associated keywords. Click on a keyword to search for it.
  • Comma Cloud: Shows the idiom and its Hindi equivalent, followed by a comma-separated list of color-tagged keywords. Click on a keyword to search for it.
• Search Button: Click to find idioms matching your criteria.
• Clear Button: Resets the search form and clears results.

The right pane will display the search results. If many results are found, a scrollbar will appear in that pane.

Close
