A QA shift centers on designing and running tests: you maintain automated regression suites, run focused tests against database queries, and write reproducible bug reports in the tracker. Between runs you participate in design reviews, write test procedures, and coordinate with developers via email and team meetings to monitor bug resolution and risk. Much time is spent ensuring accuracy and repeatability so releases can be evaluated reliably.
